Knoxville, TENnessee (Quincy Troupe)

Google.com

Summer comes easy,
fresh corn,
watermelon,
shorts plus t-shirts,
Think blanket in beds,
i also enjoy
barefoot beach walks,
no school days,
international vacations,
music camp concerts,
above all,
driving is a cool business,
no ice or snow storms to worry,
everything is perfect like TEN!

Unafraid (Poetry Week 75)

Afterthought to now?
None!
Determined, I blaze the
chill woods,
Without worrying about the
life and death ahead.
Hands on throttle,
Advancing the icy water,
I'm unafraid.

Eternal Object and Rome

In the vast universe,
Earth is as infinitesimal
as a cell of the mink,
Time is a long river
that stretches to infinity,
One's life time seems very ephemeral,
Elapse as quick as
the blink of the eyes,
Some call Rome of Italy the eternal city,
The question is;
Do we have anything cope with Rome's
forever beauty in the ever-flowing river of history?
Maybe, if yes,
there should be love, the burning passion
between two devoted souls, heart to heart!
Eternal love is part of divinity.

Happiness arrives at seven,
not at eleven!
#
Happiness is not about ownership,
But about comprehension and partnership.
#
Happiness is not being clever,
But being productive and improving for better!

Thursday Flash Fiction Week 28: Innocence and Dreams

We sit on a cliff like curs, chins pressed to thumbs,
dew on the grass, and our thoughts float the glazed night sky,
South of Boston, East of Washington,
Bread baked for dinner is not served,
The Northern star for the guidebook,
We've knotted closer in innocence and guile,
I imagined I was chasing you when you're seven,
How we charged so far beyond our courage altitude,
Bluebells in your hair, and we eventually
mind lodged in mind, feel love like Heaven!
